I have only worn my B01 Chronomat 44 three times over the lat three weeks and so far no problems.
I have Googled "problems with the B01" and have found one or two posts. I also tried to access a link
from another site that has a similar pole about the caliber and it was not working. I can only give a qualified
no problem as Ihave barely worn the watch for my vote to count. Mine, I am told, was manufactured in 2011,
is there any benefit to have an earlier model or a current?
Be safe, Frank.

Thanks for reviving this old thread Frank.

As I had noted at the time, it seems that the huge majority of B01 equipped pieces is having no problems. But the ones who do have problems is posting much more here, which is logical.

The actual benefit for later B01 models is that the guarantee has been extended to five years from the initial two. I believe, if I'm not mistaken, that the new extended guarantee is valid for watches produced from March 2011 onwards. Further benefits might include a caliber that has been produced in larger quantities, thus having received more feedback info on possible problems.

The guarantee is for watches sold after January 1st 2012 in most markets.

Thank you for the reply people. I have to make a correction on my post as I just removed my bracelet and found my watch was manufactured in May of 2010 not in 2011. The sales staff had it wrong. 2011 may be the date they received the watch into their stock.
I also grabbed my wife's Lupe and observed the action of the sweep second hand and the sub-dials to find that the sweep starts clean with no backward movement at all and the min. totalizer did not move either. I am wondering if I should have keep my Blackbird blue face and not bought this? Just me being paranoid.
Thanks again, Frank.

Personally, I just loved your Blackbird. Maybe it was because of your exquisite photos.

But, if you could, I would have the B01 on top of the Blackbird. Just my thought Frank.

Subconsciously I am hoping it will not sell and I am "forced" to keep it
Thanks for the post and compliment, Frank.

Well, as the thread is revived, had mine since the end of january, no issues so far. It is '10 Navi limited, so definitely not one of the most recently manufactured movements.

To pick up on a point mentioned above, It really is amazing how much quality the human assembly part still adds to a piece in a day and age where everything is precision-machined and laser guided into perfection... And then you get to think the 737 you've just boarded might've been made on a Monday by more than one aircraft engineer... Crazy thought that... Hang on, where's the cabin door, I'll be taking a train instead...

The engineer was up all night fighting with his wife and the coffee maker is broken...

As for the B01, mine has been flawless. I didn't wear the TOC last week -- it was -1 sec for the week while sitting crown up.

My Navi 01 LE has had not problems at all. I wear it frequently as the WWAYWT thread will attest. I haven't babied it either. Seems the movement is just fine but Breitling's QC needs a bump.
