A gang of armed thugs has knocked off at least three Manhattan jewelry stores in the past week, including a $300,000 heist yesterday in Midtown, police sources told The Post.

In the most recent robbery, two suspects, one with a gun, entered the store on West 57th Street and struck a glass case with a rubber mallet to swipe 50 Breitling watches valued at around $300,000, the sources said.

They are also believed to be part of the same crew that knocked off Crown Jewelers International on West Eighth Street Wednesday and an Upper East Side store last week, the sources said.

The boutique is on East 57th between Fifth and Madison.

If they stole the newer models, they probably did Breitling a favor!

Couldn't have been the new models - only $300,000 for 50 watches, that's only $6k per, way too cheap for the current line up

Actually, the robbery was intended to get 50 NOS Breitlings, enough to last them through most of these troubled design times.

They will face some difficulties servicing them though. But who knows? After 5 to 7 years, maybe Breitling will come up with something decent.

If they had only waited ,and stole them next month the price would of been double, since the price increase. :lingsrock: :lingsrock:

Yeah, Kenjo is just about across 57th from the Breitling Boutique. That would mean the thugs had to get all the way into the back of the shop as the Breitling case (cases, actually) are in the rear of the store......

The robbers were just simply "securing" the watches in preparation of the hurricane! :lingsrock:

Wont the be able to determine the Serial #s of the stolen watches and they will never be serviced by breathing. I don't get stealing a watch if you know it's not going to work in around 5 years
