In race mode, ready for the 24h of the Nürburgring which will start Saturday in a week, at 4 o'clock pm.

There is only a couple times in the year when a turning 24h bezel is properly useful: the Ring, Le Mans and Spa ;) maybe Daytona as well, if one was to be American...

Looking good mate, reminds me I haven't worn mine in a while... Even though it is hands down my favorite watch in the collection.

After being treated to a full service and some cleanup from a prior-owner polishing job on the bezel, and old friend is back home.

i like your thinking - one of these days I'll get to LeMans. Having raced in several 24 hour races as an amateur, need to go to the mecca at least once. Nothing like an enduro.

It is a magical place indeed. I have yet to go there in person, but I know the circuit and most of its history by heart and have followed the endurance there with interest for years and years... It's one fascination of its own that race...

Anyhow, the ring's got just as much appeal if not more to it... It is the people's race and as such, a lot like all the others used to be in the 60ies, love that about it. Oh yeah, and I'll be photographing it which makes it all the more particular for me ;)

I would take it back, the rider tabs are in the wrong place.
Other than that, very nice ;-)
