Looking for a bit more bling on my second Chronomat, this one is going to be on black croco. I quite like the idea of a MOP dial, understated bling. Or slate gray and, dare I say it, DIAMONDS (sorry Driver the dark side of the force is too strong) in your face pimp bling. Hmmmm

Thoughts? Better yet pictures anyone? My AD has none of the above but offered to order it for me if I decide, he also offered his daughters hand in mariage but that's just securing a good customer and besides the point

So any MOP pics? Ron's pics of his diamond dial slate Chronomat have me leaning heavily on that side (damn you Ron)

My vote is for the MOP with diamonds. I think the MOP dial suits diamonds the best!

If you're really REALLY set on diamonds on a Chronomat, then please PLEASE go the original Breitling equipment route!!! Sure some aftermarket diamonds can look good (if you like that kind of thing!) on certain models (like the SA), but IMHO the original Breitling diamond bezels are the only way to go on the Chronomat. They just look the most classy. Ron's slate grey beastie is a perfect example of how to do it well.

However, if it was my cash, I'd be trying to source a black MOP Chronomat from Japan. It's limited edition and looks the business! It was available in the States too but that one has silver subdials, whereas the Japanese one has black subdials which looks even more awesome. (Of course you could combine it with diamonds as well, just to really ramp up the BLING!!! )

Altair,

I can tell you that once you get used to the diamonds it's GREAT and they look awesome on Chronomat's ! After I got my Super Avenger I wasn't wearing my Bentley much anymore but once I put the Diamond bezel on the Bentley I wear the Bentley more than the SA now.

Well yeah I agree they are beautiful, but I just can't seem to pull the trigger. They really dont suit me you know?

I am taking my time with this one, dont want to regret the decision. On one hand I can get the MOP Chronomat with diamonds, which is beutifull and MIGHT work, or I can get the MOP chronomat sans diamonds AND that sweet Zenith El Primero XXT I have been eyeing.

Quite the head scratcher :?
