I am the proud owner of a Breitling Superocean courtesy of my darling wife.....the watch is now 5 years old and during that time it has been repaired 3 times, once when the winding crown fell off and twice for a broken bracelet.
It has now broken again!!
The fault is always the same and is where the T joint of the bracelet is not securely fastened to the pin.....it is spot welded in some way or maybe soldered.
Breitling say that this is [quote]wear and tear, but as the joint is covered when the bracelet is closed I am at a loss to see how that is possible.
I would be interested to know if any owners have suffered similar problems with the Breitling bracelet and if so how it was resolved with Breitling.
