I just purchased a new MO(steel/black dial) with black leather strap w/ deployment buckle. I love the watch, but am not sure about the strap. I have a Navitimer w/ steel Navi bracelet and wanted my new one to look a bit different. Are there any other bracelets that might work on my new Olympus? Would it be considered blasphemy to put a pilot bracelet on the Olympus?

Thank you.

You won't find another type of bracelet to fit the Monty exactly as the end links on all Breitling bracelets tend to be very specific to specific models. That said there are a couple of bracelets that fit more than one model (the Chronomat Pilot fits the B-1 for example), but it's more luck that judgement and I don't know of a single alternative for the Monty Olympus.

Buddy, I'm having the same very problem and I can't wait for the new Transocean to be released because this would mean FINALLY having a Breitling Mesh in 22mm lug size! I am picturing this combo as very vintage looking and nice. I own a SOH on a mesh and it's lovely!

The mesh style is exactly what I was hoping for..... I hope that happens.

With regard to changing straps/bracelets, I just ordered the recommended Bergeon 6767F tool. Is that the correct tool for straps also?
It almost looks like you may gouge the strap to remove as it is a very tight fit. I would like to try to swap with my Navi to see how it looks and do not want to visit local AD as they are not easy to work with and unfriendly when dealing with pieces bought elsewhere - namely from George at Govberg's who is exceptional to work with.

Thanks

6767F works with straps too. Put some tape on the lugs to replace them and compress the strap to access the springbar.

A straight end bracelet like a mesh will likely work, but you still need to consider the position of the springbar holes.
