Will the superquartz "die" after a certian period of years? |

Superquartz will inevitably become obsolete at some point. Breitling has committed to supporting their quartz movements for at least 20 years after they stop using them, but the nature of the technology is that it will eventually die and not be capable of repair. By contrast a mechanical watch can always be repaired because the parts can be made as needed by a skilled watchmaker wit the right tools. |
