I purchased a second hand Emergency last year from a reputable watch shop. The watch came in the Emergency box, with tester, screwdriver, manual, unopened video, even a service card from Breitling from it's first service. So, I am pretty sure it is 100% authentic. Here's the history;
Watch was last serviced in 2008. The watch has been running fine, and I have not seen any indication of an EOL. However, according to the service card, it is due for another service (every two years). A couple concerns I have;
1. The lume is very, very, very faint, if not non-existent. (I do have a yellow dial, but still, no glow on the hands, no glow on the dots behind the numbers). 2. It is a standard quartz movement. I understand ALL Breitling quartz movements are now SuperQuartz. 3. There is a pretty decent dent in the bezel. 4. Some of the paint on the bezel is starting to wear off.
Will any of these concerns be addressed during standard service. If not, what would the additional charge be (about) to address them? Also, I am assuming the Emergency gets the same rub down/polish treatment other models do.
Anyone want to chime in who has had an Emergency serviced.
