Post subject:  Blackbird
When did breitling change the design of the Blackbird caseback? I've noticed that some of the casebacks say BLACKBIRD across the case back then recently it was changed to look similar to the chronomat evolution caseback? The change didn't happen when they redesigned the face. Any ideas?

I think (THINK!--not 100% sure :idea: ), but IIRC, the polished BB's have the chronomat style caseback and the brushed ones have the traditional "BLACKBIRD" caseback.

and besides those 2 casebacks there is a third caseback also whit blackbird written but whit brushed finish, whit blackbird and breitling both polished

My late 2006 brushed/polished BB has the raised Blackbird/brushed finish as shown in CometMan's middle picture.
