Well I've finally re-joined the ranks of Breitling owners, I put a deposit on a SOH 46 today. Should have it in two weeks.
I noticed my status had changed to "Breitling Maniac" so I took that as a sign that I was required to go and buy one.

Good man Otto!  What colour did you go for? Traditional black, or something more avant garde? The black dial with green bezel is my personal fave because I always liked the colour combo on my long since departed Submariner LV. |

Thanks guys. Yep, I'm on the practice squad but pretty confident of making it to first grade as soon as May rolls around.  D8 - nothing fancy, it's the classic black. Every time I buy something that's not black, I end up selling it. But I do like the green bezel version, a lot. I've always been a bit turned off the SOH because of the strap/bracelet options, I don't really like either the Ocean Racer or the mesh, but now there are other options. I went for the diver pro 2 and a calf strap as well.

Great looking on the Diver Pro II. I have my Black Bird on it most of the time. For some reason it fits / wears better than the OR. Post pics on arrival pls. R/ |
