Hello fellow Breitling-connoisseurs. Two days ago I purchased my first Breitling. The Windrider Blackbird w/steel bracelet. Its an awesome watch and I'm very pleased with, needless to say. I had also been looking at the Chronomat Evo, but I liked the Blackbird more, amongst others because of the datelook and position. Coming from Denmark, known for some serious taxes, I decided to take a tour at The Breitling website to find some retailers nearby in Europe with some more resonable prices. I find out that Switserland actually had some very decent prices and upon contact I found out that I could even save more by paying in cash. So I went to Zurich and got my Blackbird. Still after paying for my girlfriend and myself, plane and hotel, I saved almost USD 2400/Eur 1600. Sweet. NB. Please beware, that certain tax-rules may vary in your country. You can of course choose not to declare your watch, but then again, if you get caught in DK you will be fined the same amount as you payed for getting the watch in. Breitling_DK |

Nice pics! Hope you had a great trip too! I notice that the caseback is a bit different than the one displayed at the official website. But, that may be something graphical on the website? How do you like the watch? |
