I own a Chrono superocean and have a few scratches on it. anyone have an idea on a polishing service that Breitling might do without having the watch serviced. The watch is only about 10 months old. Or any other place in the UK that could do it ? cheers! |

How deep are the scratches and what's their location on the watch? My AD will perform free polishing for me whenever I want; I would assume an AD in the UK would be no different. You should also do a search on a "cape cod" polishing cloth. This is what most members of this website use to perform routine polishing. -Craig |

As Craig says Cape Cod (or Sunshine) cloths do great for routine polishing. A 'professional' polish is generally an AD thing rather than a Breitling thing, and that's why I put professional in inverted commas - not all ADs know what they are doing with polishing. Also, machine polishing of a watch with the movement in it can cause problems. |

Kinda on the subject... any ideas on how to have a Stealfish polished?.... I saw a picture of one and would much rather have a polished stealfish than a brushed(matte). |

Ask Breitling, they seem to be fairly amenable to requests like this at the moment. In fact thinking about it, and going back to the original question, Breitling may actually do a regular polish for you - because most people go through their ADs the ADs tend to do it themselves, but these days Breitling may agree to do it if you go direct. |

jfern. I saw that same picture and was seriously contemplated polishing my steelfish. I hesitated because I wasn't sure if I would be able to go back to the brushed look. So if you would experiment on going back and forth that would be great

took my chrono to breitling UK in tonbridge and they did a polish for free, give them a call you have nothing to loose, also go the travel case and another bassball cap while i was there. thanks Breitling |
