Well.......... Seeing as you asked............ As the site says, the watch winds clockwise so the winder needs to be set for clockwise! Are there also any speed settings on the winder, and finally, does it have rest periods? |

sorry to hijack the thread guys I am a little confused, I have a watch winder and it states that my fighter is clockwise...does this mean my winder should rotate clockwise??? Reason I ask is I am unsure if the winder rotation refers to is as looking at it face on or refers to the looking at rear of the watch. ( I searched the site and non the wiser, sorry ![]() |

The direction refers to the direction of the winder pad. For a watch that requires clockwise rotation then the unit should rotate clockwise. Given the way that the watch fits on a winder then that's when looking at it from the front. |

I understand it says clockwise, but this is a bi-directional... so it rotates both direction four times then pauses for 30 minutes... is this good or bad for my watch? should i return it and get a new watch winder? thanks for the help |

Masada wrote: bump...someone please answer Jeez, give us a chance - it is Christmas!! A winder that winds both ways will not hurt the watch (if you need an answer urgently you can use the search function as this has been asked and answered before). However, the watch will only be wound for half the time that the winder is moving. So unless the winder rotates for twice as many revolutions as required then it won't be enough to keep the watch fully wound. If it doesn't have an option for unidirectional winding then you are probably better off exchanging it. |
