Hey, I've just treated myself to a Blacksteel Super Avenger and I should have it in a week or so. But I'm not really a fan of the diver pro rubber strap and was thinking I might buy the new diver pro2. Does anyone have one? Any good?? I would love to get a Pro2 bracelet treated to become blacksteel aswell.... That would be cool!! Cheers |

I would guess the Diver Pro and Diver Pro II are identical in terms of rubber : it'll just be teh design that's different. If you hang on a while you may be able to pick up a blacksteel tang and buckle as there is a rumour that the new blacksteel Seawolf Chrono comes with one, so I'd assume it's be available as an accessory too. In terms of a Blacksteel bracelet, it's been discussed a few times here and as far as I know Breitling have no plans to make one. However, there are companies out there who will do DLC work for you, so it may be worth checking them out of you want to DLC a Pro II bracelet yourself. (I saw a very smart looking Rolex Sub on another forum that I guy has had DLC'd - bracelet and all - and it looks very cool indeed). |

To answer your initial question, like Driver answers, the different is mostly in the design. If you like the simpler look on the Diver Pro 2, go for it. The major difference is that you can order the Diver Pro 2 on deployment and not the original Diver Pro. |
