Hello all,
I recently became a new member, but this will is my first post. I got my navitimer world about two months ago. I initially had a problem with date and sent it to BUSA. I got my watch back last friday and it had the time and date already set. My watch has been on the winder since i got my watch back. i have a wolf designs watch winder and have to setting "A" (turn clockwise) to comply with the instructions in the manual to wind the watch clockwise. yesterday i noticed that the time was off by a few hours. Has this happened to anyone? Should a change the setting on my winder, check if there is a problem with winder or could be a fault in the watch? Any help is greatly appreciated.

World winds both ways on a winder. It's possible that your winder isn't giving it enough turns, is there a setting for number of rotations?

It sounds more like it has stopped at some point rather than it is losing time.

no, it doesn't have any settings other than a, b or c. C will turn the watch in both directions.

that's the actual winder i have. do you think setting it to "c" will do the trick?

I imagine that it winds the smae number of turns in total, but try it and see what happens. It really does sound like the watch stopped at some point.

Roff is correct that the watch probably stopped. The Navi World requires 800 TPD and the Wolf only turns a max of 600 tpd. I have the same winder and have precisely the same problem with some of my watches that require higher tpd's. You may find that you need to wear the watch periodically or manually wind it ever so often to give it a little extra boost.

There's the problem right there then. The mainspring is winding right down and then it will stop and start based on the turning.
