Can we make it mandatory to include the model name in the title of gallery posts? It would make it much more productive when searching for a particular model.

Also it would help if you had to use the full name instead of the SA, CA etc. The search doesn't recognize short two letter entries. The Gallery could become a very useful tool if it was more "searchable".

Just a thought.

AGREE!

Break down the categories even further...that way if someone was interested in looking up a particular model they can!

I agree too Mark, but what I would say is that is pretty tough to get people to follow a naming convention in titles. For example I tried (not overly successfully) to get everyone to use a naming convention in the Feedback section to ensure that people's usernames are easy to find when searching for info about a buyer/seller. My idea was "Username" followed by "Trusted Seller" or "Problematic" or whatever. It lasted for all of about a week  , although to be fair, people do at least tend to put the username in the title.

Maybe Admin can come up with something innovative!

How about a tagging system in the same way you tag a blog with keywords? If you upload and image, you just choose keyword or two from a list (there would be a 'non-watch' tag for when people put up pics of their cars etc.).

Then, when searching for images, you just scroll through the list of keywords, find the watch you're looking for and job done. This way, you won't be searching for things that aren't there and won't be overlooking things that are. You'd only ever end up with a few tags for each model of watch.

I think you can set these things up so that users just type in their own tags which are automatically added to the list, so admin wouldn't even have to write his own list, it'd all be user generated.

+1 for the tagging suggestion. In a perfect world where web hosting software is infinitely flexible that would be the least-effort solution. But of course, it all depends on what the site software will let admin do.

I agree, though, that it would be fantastic to have some more order and/or searchability in the gallery section.
