Post subject:  why Breitling.com website shows incorrect watch photos?

Has any one noticed that the photo's on Breitling offical site is different for the watch to end up getting?

take the attached link for example, I and yet to see a Black dial SA with Arabic numbers display automatic above the 6 o'clock subdial, as well, the 8 and 10 numbers are cut off. I also dont recall seeing the Swiss made at the both as they have shown.
http://www.breitling.com/en/

look at the SA with black dial and arabic numbers.

Is there any reason to this? why would they not just display the actual watch?

I dont know which pic youre talking about, but its probably the most recent super avenger. Breitling has begun to print "swiss made" on the dials again.

An easy one is the Bentley GMT. On the site 1. no bezel markers for the cities, 2. 24 hour hand is completely red, 3. GMT & London are misaligned. 3 things different than on production watches.

I am speaking of the Super Avenger with the Black dial and white subdials. its look different then the production watch, as mentioned above, the swiss made is just one component, but there are others that do not match up such has the 8 and 10 on the dial are cut off by the subdial located at 9 0'clock, where as on the production watch, the 8 and 10 and fully visible. also the automatic listed (red print) above the 6 o'clock subdial.

It almost seems as though they used the avenger photos for the super avenger.

my Opinion is this, the watches displayed on the offical Breitling site should be exactly what you should recieve when ordering to those specs.. it appears this is not the case.

There were change in dials in the past.

Well, with superocean 360 view you get an older model and it has been there about one year now.

I think breitling.com is designed to create an image for the brand and get prospective customers to visit an AD.

I don't think Breitling see it as an on-line catalogue.
