Post subject:  Breitling straps to change your "look"

To date, I own the following watches:

Breitling Bentley Motors with Speed Bracelet and the new black rubber strap (Bentley)
Breitling Super Avenger with steel bracelet
Breitling Chrono-Matic 49 with woven steel bracelet

Others - 2009 Rolex Submariner, Tag Heuer Carerra

Anyway, I bought two Ocrean Racer straps, one black, one brown. As noted above, I also bought the new Bentley black rubber strap. I switched off the Speed bracelet from the Bentley and replaced it with the rubber strap and in my opinion, looks much better. Anyone looking for a change, this is a gerat choice!

I then took off the woven steel bracelet from the Chrono-49 and put it on the white face Super Avenger. This too looks so damn good! Much better I think.

I have the off-white face Chrono 49 with the black ring bezel and it now has the black Ocean Racer strap on it. Man, I just love it now.

The brown Ocean racer strap is not being used as I had bought it for the Super Avenger but the Woven steel looks so great, I don't think I replace it.

I find it quite fun to switch all of these straps around. It really makes a difference and feels like I am wearing a new watch once I switch them up.

does anyone else do this?

have you scratched anything during any of these changes? Ive seen the video, and know what tool to use, but was wondering if you managed to switch around these cool straps without any dings or scratches. Must be fun to switch around. You should post some pics. I sure would like to see them

Peace

Funny you should ask! I have scratch the Bentley. I then had to buy a dremel and green jewlers rouge to try and fix the "problems." Nothing like learning how to polish on a $10,000. (CDN) watch! Most of the scratchs are on the underside and I am now more careful when performing the changes...

I change straps all the time (no just because I´ve got two Panerais  ).

Here are some pics of my Chrono-Matic. I also sometimes use it on different Nato straps but I've got no pictures of that at the moment.

Thank you, sir. I am not sure where I went wrong...? I'll keep trying. Do you like the Bentley with the black rubber?

I think you were adding the BS sites "img" protocol in addition to that provided in the link by Photobucket. There is no need when pasting from Photobucket to click the "img" link. Just paste it in. :)

As far as the rubber on the Bentley I'm afraid it really doesn't do it for me. I tend to like the Navi and Bentley line on metal or leather but I'm an old fuddy- duddy so pay me no mind. Absolutely gorgeous collection of watches by the way. :D
