Yes, you answered your question correctly. Also, the short hand on the 12 oclock subdial is on top of the lang date hand. On the other 2 subdials the long hands are applied above the short ones.
How is your French for the abbreviated months and days of the week?

Do you wear glasses :lol:

? I had to get my prescription changed due to eye strain when "reading" this watch.

It is nearing time for me to head to the airport & return to my job in Nigeria, I wont be home again for 8 weeks. New Navitimer World and my B-1 will travel with me.

Be careful out there and wear the Olympus in good health.

I got it at a fantastic price, it came with original 'tired' brown croc strap, full paperwork but no box, picked up a new Breitling Croc at half price for it and also replaced its missing box with a brand new one (older style yellow and silver outer) and all in it cost me less than half what some of the current ones are selling on Ebay! Might send it in for a full service soon though as the previous owner has never had it serviced since he bought it in 2002. Stef

Actually I've probably just answered that myself as the EXIF data for your photo says it was taken on the 18th August which indicates the long hand is pointing to the date, strangely on the other two subs, the long hand is used for the chrono functions and the short hands for the date functions (the opposite to the top sub dial!). By the way, your watch really does look fab in that gold! Stef
