OK guys here's the skinny on getting the Breitling cap. After about 2 months I started to wonder if Breitling hated me. But when I received my chocolates I felt the love again but then wondered where the hell my hat was.... After reading several "how long did it take" hat threads on various forums I decided to call Breitling USA. I explained to the nice lady that I was just checking to see about getting my cap. She asked for the serial number of the watch and looked me up. Turns out my address in their system was wrong. She said they will get one out to me in a week. I also asked the normal timeframe for the cap, she said about a mont is about the standard wait time. So if you are hatless and cry at night because you want it so bad. Give Breitling USA a call at 203-762-1180 to check on it!

You know, I don't think they do this free hat deal in the UK. I've owned 5 Breitlings, all from AD's, and never once has there been anything to fill in and send off for a free hat. I had to wait until my AD had a VIP event before I could get my hands on a couple of hats. :x

Had my Breitling for a while now and there has been no mention of a cap for me. I have a feeling that Breitling here in South Africa do not give out caps either (Driver8 I feel your pain). Seems Breitling USA spoils their customers!!

Im gonna have to try and find a VIP event to go to. I like their caps so really want to get one

Breitling is obviously taking good care of our American cousins!
Breitling hats, Breitling "Chocolate for Professionals" (see of earlier thread) - whatever next?

Honestly, I'm not bitter at all at not being offered a nice, well-made, well-fitting, distinctive, blue, 100% cotton hat!! Honestly I'm NOT!!!!!

Driver8,

Not to mention that chocolate gives you cavities in your teeth, so in essence those awesome looking Breitling chocolates for professionals could be potentially bad for your health.

I received my cap about 1 month after I received my Navitimer. Its a shame though that this watch was plagued with problems, unreliability & was returned now 3 times to the brietling service centre in Australia for repairs. The Jeweller (to his credit) offered a free exchange suggesting to swap the watch for a AIRWOLF. Any thoughts on what that watch is like? The cap is great I wear it everyday, very good quality
