Just pondering the idea of having my Skyland sent in to BUSA and having the bracelet and the case Brushed like the Seawolf is...Wondering if they will do it upon request and what it would cost. Any thoughts? ![]() |

No idea on cost, but it does seem like they are more likely to agree these days. A member here had his Skyracer brushed by Breitling. |

Roff, I remember seeing that photo and thinking it looked awesome! I'm debating between having the AS brushed by BUSA or swapping it out for a Brushed Blackbird... |

Maybe your AD can do the brushing for you. My AD had offered to brush the clasp on my Ocean Racer strap for me for free, although I have yet to get it done. The OR is on my Seawolf, and with the polished sides on the case, it looks good as is. Seems that nobody knows what will happen to the Blackbird. I saw the Chronomat B01 today, and was not really impressed. If I was interested in getting a Blackbird, I would probably do it soon, lest it suffers a makeover to look like the Chronomat B01. Cheers, Carl |

Well, i went to try on the BB today and compare it to my Skyland and see if I wanted to do a switch...and I guess I'm getting used to having a big chunky watch, because the BB just seemed way too small for me. So, now my question is, should I have my Skyland brushed like the Seawolf and BB are? Not that I plan on selling it (but you never know I guess) would having it brushed by BUSA decrease the resale value of the watch? Thoughts? |
