It's horrible. I'd say Breitling had some leftover Buck Rogers bezels laying around after switching to the new style and had to find a way to get rid of them.

And this will get rid of them, huh?

Went to the AD today and they had the Raven there. To be honest, I really liked it's look. VERY sporty. If I didn't already have a few sporty watches I would consider it. I like it. FYI, the glossy look is because it still has it's protective covering on it.

This is a winner IMHO, I love the orange against black. Sapphire case back on a DLC is a first, and it looks great! It's on my short list for sure, thanks for the pics!

I really like the Raven, it looks much better in person than the photos show. It always wears larger than a 44mm, which I believe is because of the blacksteel.

I actually saw one of these in person the other day at an AD and bizarrely I actually didn't like it at all person, despite quite liking it in the "real world" photos I'd seen. It looked a lot more washed-out somehow in the flesh, and it struck me as very cheap looking. Strange because I was one of the few people here who didn't instantly hate it.

In actual fact that whole AD visit really highlighted something that I've long suspected but never really fully acknowledged to myself : and that's that I'm just not in love with Breitling as a brand any more. :(

I was looking through the Breitling display cabinet and I can safely say there was not one single Breitling that I wanted to own...... and there were a LOT on display. In contrast when I moved along to the Omega display there were a good 5 or 6 I'd love to pick up. I've always loved both Omega and Breitling, but Breitling always edged it for me......... but I guess pieces like this Raven just goes to show that either my tastes have changed, or (much more likely) Breitling just aren't making the kind of thing I like anymore. It's a real shame. :(

I feel exactly the same when I compare those two brands.

Since I wear Omega, Breitling and Rolex I do like my Omegas the most. Brietlng is my second and rolex is my third. But the truth is they are all loved.

I agree, with the exception of the Navitimers  . Driver, did you see the Omega Deville Tresor in person? It's only the second watch I'm totally infatuated with besides the Navi 01

I do agree about the Navis, but unfortunately not enough to want to own one of the currently models (outside of my Navi World of course). The Navi 01 is gorgeous to look at, but just too small more my tastes. I thought the Navi 46 was going to be perfect, but I just can't get past the thinness of the lugs - they are much thinner than my Navi World, and it just bothered me when I tried it on. The navi GMT 48's lugs are much more World-like (and the case size fits me brilliantly), but the time part of the dial just looks too small in the vast expanse of the rest of the dial.

I've seen the Omega Deville Tresor before and it is a very handsome watch, if a little too dressy for my personal tastes. An Aqua Terra is about as dressy as I like to get!
