That teaser actually does its job for me! I'm interested. To be honest I'd expected something like the SO2 and didn't have much hope. But now I'm warming up nicely.

I just thought it was a trailer for an up and coming movie, bout a guy who has an emergency landing in his light aircraft. How he struggles to repair it in hostle conditions and the many bush mechanc tricks he has to employ to get it off the ground again. 8)

Maybe Rise of the Pheonix II would be a good working title. :)

I hope they include a better WR rating for the II... I feel like in an "emergency" you would want something rugged, and they first models WR wasn't doing it for me. Larger face wouldn't hurt too(similar to the mission).

Cant wait for it, already called my rep for more info... What disappoints me is in a registered emergency owner and didn't get email as someone posted earlier.

i posted on the Breitling emergency FB page and i asked what features would you be interested in.

For me...

Automatic time zone changing.
Temperature
Speed Calculations

I'd bet against it. My guess is that because size is the main enemy here, most components will be thinner than usual. I'm thinking that anything that could possibly add size will be omitted or sized down appropriately.

$7,000 for a quartz... Seems a bit crazy to me.

:uplaugh: Concur. I would guess it will be a very useful, cool, aviation tool watch, but definitely not cheap. And from the quick glimpse, it looks pretty LARGE. If I was still in a flying status and had more time left in the military, I'd consider it. But it's probably not for me.

I'd love a higher WR as well like 100m+ so I can atleast swim with it, but am not too hopeful.

Wonder if they'll do the Emergency and a Mission. Or will the Mission be next year.
