Is there a problem that I didn't kno the difference? As long as it looks good on my wrist, what difference does it make? And did I not mention "still new"? Yeah WOW!

Hey David 168, don't get mad, he is a very intolerant guy with people who don't know or think as he does.

As most of the members said, buy an automatic watch. And a nice watchwinder now that your collection is growing.

No no. I would never het upset at ignorant ppl like that. Lol.

And my collection will grow more and more. (with more dumb questions in the future). :D

Im with the auto crowd, but the yellow dial might be a deal breaker if you need versatility.

:yeahthat not a fan of SOII but would have it over the colt. I actively went out to get a SuperQuartz and that is why I now have the SQ Chrono Colt which I would also take over the SOII... just my opinion and every ones is different that's what makes this place great!
Go with what you really feel most comfortable with and enjoy it.

I think he was referring to the original Superocean...he said 2009.
Sorry john123 and OP reading between work! ! ! In that case i would take the SO but but like RJ states the yellow could be a deal breaker. If the SO was the black dial for me there would be no contest. .

IMHO SuperOcean is the better choice unless you need timekeeping as a priority, then the SuperQuartz Colt is the one to go for.
The SO will probably need you to time adjust every few days unless you are lucky. I have seen a new automatic Chrono SO run uncannily as accurate as a quartz watch to the second.
The SO will probably hold depreciation off better than the SQ Colt too.
