I went with the Navi World. Like others have said, that would be the perfect addition to your collection.

would def be the world for me too, its a great watch you get all the benefits of a Navi and its that bit bigger to boot, works well with a suit and shirt and add class to jeans and causal shirt.

basically its a great allrounder just not water friendly and for me the SA is more robust, hard wearing and isnt gonna mine a knock or two

this is such a huge choice and hard to make both these watches look awesome but i am sure everyone has their pick. peronally i lean more towards the SA. but i think that its unfair of me to say that its better that the navi. i am a big fan of large dial watches. i dont think that you can go wrong with either but if it were up to me (and its not) i would go SA :lingsrock:

I have a Navitimer and I can tell you I rarely see another person with a Navitimer like mine, or any Navitimer model period. It all comes down to taste... if you want to be trendy go with the SA if you are looking to have something most dont go with the Navitimer.

U mentioned white face. For that reason I would choose the World. Looks incredible w a black or brown croc. If ur looking for a black face, nothing beats a black-on-black w batons SA for sheer wrist presence imo! Good luck!

Hi All!

I totally agree with jfern2000, I have owned a Navitimer since 1997 and have never seen another person wearing any Navitimer model. Nonetheless, I abstained due to the nature of the choices lol  - I love the Navitimer  - However, I am not terribly fond of the Navitimer World. In my opinion the Navitimer World is just to big and as a result looks gaudy. Or maybe I am just a traditionalist and I can not get over the fact that they have altered the look of the classic Navitimer.

Now that being said any Navitimer in the series would get my vote with the exception of the Navitimer World and the Chrono-Matic 49. One more thing the Chrono-Matic 49 is an imposter  - it does not even have a left hand crown lmao!

Best Regards,

Enezdez

Both of these watches say BREITLING and are easily identifiable so as most have already said, it boils down to personal preference and taste. I love the size of both and the uniqueness of each bracelet. In my most humble opinion, I think that are both a necessity for the ultra Breitling enthusiast. I absolutely have to have both a Navi and SA.

Navitimer is a Navitimer. Essential Breitlings! Even though SA:s a personal favourite. Second thought... I think you should go for both!!! 8)

New dilemma. Navitimer World vs Navitimer Montbrilliant Legende?

There's a Montbrilliant Legende out for sale within in my price range. Didn't realize there was another large Navitimer out there. There doesn't seem to be many owners of the Montbrilliant Legende, so I am wondering why.

The Legende is newer than the World so less time for people to pick them up, although it has been around for a few years now. It has an integrated bracelet which may put some people off (can't be worn with strap). Personally I'm a fan.....

Saw the review of the Montbrilliant Legende on youtube and is it true it doesn't have a quickdate function? I'm not sure how that is lost with what is basically a 7753 movement.

A while back I was trying to figure out if I should go with the Legende or the Navi World and in the end picked the Legende. I can't put a finger on the deal breaker, but I just thought it looked better on my wrist. I don't have a problem at all with the integrated bracelet, but it has crossed my mind to make a custom strap for the Legende.

It is true that there's no quick-set date, therefore mine is on a winder when I'm not using it.

Sorry I can't provide any constructive input on that deal, but just wanted to weigh in on the original question. I have the SA and love it to death. I wear it every day and do not find it at all uncomfortable or too heavy. In fact, that was one of the deciding factors in purchasing it.
It is my first and only Breitling.
That being said, I've recently had my eyes on the Navi World. I don't think I'll ever wear another watch smaller than 46mm, and I would love a white face, gold or brown croc strap. That would definitely be my dress watch, and not my everyday piece...
While the SA can be dressed up or down, I think a white Navi World on croc would look a little funny while I'm training clients in the gym!!

I owned a Montbrillant Legende, and setting the date was a pain in the a**. I love my Navi World. Its sporty with the bracelet and classy with a strap. :lingsrock: But it all depends on what you like.
