Where did you get that diamond bezel from dadicroce? That's one of best aftermarket diamond bezels I've seen. Is it steel or white gold?

driver, got it from abreitlingday (ebay name) i get everything from him cause he gives me the best prices anywhere. he lives 20 minutes away from me and he actually became a good friend of mine and id sware by his goods. so if you need something let me know. the bezel is SS. i was gonna go with a 18kt white gold bezel but it turns out white gold is significantly softer than stainless and God forbid i accidently ding it id rather just a scratch than a dent in my bezel.

Probably a very good decision on the SS bezel if you are planning to wear it a lot..... and it's cheaper too! :)

I've had a look at that guy's work on eBay before and the quality of some of the modified factory bezels seems to vary a bit at times IMO. Yes the prices are always very good, but the settings don't always look as clean as they might've..... but I admit I am something of a perfectionist!

HOWEVER, your channel-set bezel looks very VERY good indeed!! I particularly like the way it doesn't protrude higher than the crystal, so keeping a "factory look". Wow, this is the closest I've seen to wanting a diamond bezel myself! What's happening to me!!  Do you know what colour and clarity the diamonds are?

the stones are all vs2-si clarity and g-h color. and honestly in a channel set bezel the light has the ability to enter the stone and reflect better.

actually to be honest, since the guy is a friend of mine we havent decided on a price yet lol. ill let you know the next time i see him. ive been to his house hes been to mine so he knows im not going anywhere lol

Erm, no - sorry, but you did ask...but then again I'm not into selling drugs or things like that so I wouldn't know would I. :(

I don't know, it just looks really OOT - the size of the watch is already pretty imposing - but to add the glitz just doesn't ring my bell - sorry mate.

Frankly looks too "pimpy" to me - please excuse my weak attempt at humour - didn't mean to offend you in any way.

Not at all my intention (but in case you do, can I have some ? :D )

As you say, each to his own - just not my 'personal' taste -but then, what do I know? I buy Panerai.....

And even more controversy, I never liked diamonds on a watch at all until I saw my wife's first B and later my daughter's. They insisted I have one as well and I joined them on my 60th birthday. Here is the family back then... (all factory bezels, didn't want to void any warranties)
Cheers,
Ron
