Hi all.Newbie here.I am about to buy a Navitimer Fighter Edition.I've seen the replica version and know that the one I'm buying is genuine.
Just a general question really as to what peoples thoughts on this watch are.
It comes with a normal buckle on a leather strap.I am hoping to change this to a deployment clasp if possible.
Would I need to change the strap as well?
The watch dial is black.
What is the movement like etc....
Let me know what you think. :lingsrock:

i have had mine for over 2 years, its a great watch, love the brushed case, i wouldnt buy without the bracelet as well but thats just me. after a service by BUK mine runs perfectly and looks as good as new even though its 8 yrs old.

movement is sold, i believe its the same movement as the chronomat which is breitlings big seller

I believe you would but I'm sure others will confirm this.

Movement is the Breitling B13 which has been used in the majority of Breitling chronographs for many years. Rock solid as Alex says. Based on the industry standard ETA 7750.

Tang and deployant straps are different - they aren't interchangeable.

Just another quickie.I got the slide rule instructions with the watch. They are quite detailed. However, they do not go in to detail about the other markings on the watch ie Base,1000m ets on the inner markings.Does anyone know what these markings represent?
Ta :?:
