Hi All,

First post here!

I've been looking at this for a while but despite my best efforts with google am unable to ascertain if the dial is original Breitling or made. The mechanism appears to be real...

Anyone have some clues? I don't want my first vintage Breitling to be a Franken!

Cheers
Ben

Welcome here!
I am afraid that it is a Franken. Dial is a reprint , and case was not born as a Breitling : double caseback, big case with a metal flange to hold the movement , too many identification markings and not the correct ones .
I would return it if possible ( eBay + paypal claim ) ...

Phil was being kind to call it a Franken, it actually is a blatant fake.

worse than fake

why would a 'metal' inner case have a gold mark ?
