Hi

New to the site but would be very grateful for some advice on a Navitimer Wolrd I am considering purchasing.

It is being sold as a 2015 model originally purchased form an outlet called Ora 24 in Athens. There is no certificate being sold with it other han one provided by this outlet.

The seller isn’t being overly helpful with info and I’ve asked him to confirm if there is a manufacturing date code between the bottom lugs - he advised there isn’t anything present. He can only provide the model number and what appears to be a serial from the lower case back - 2033054. I understand that this mean so do it is genuine, the absence of the lug stamp probably means it predates 2003/4 and isn’t a 2015 as stated or is a replica but would be grateful if the wise old heads of the forum could post their thoughts. I attach a few photos of the watch, they aren’t the clearest unfortunately.

Many thanks in advance

Steven

It definitely looks real. They were introduced in 2005 if I’m not mistaken, and based on the paperwork/box, it’s from the 2005-2007 era. I would definitely factor in full service cost that would be needed if the seller hasn’t serviced it.
