Based on my research, I'm pretty confident that it's the real deal, but some additional verification is always appreciated before laying down money for a discontinued model.

It does. It would, however, be worth asking the seller for a picture of the case back to check the serial number against the warranty card. Nice too that he is including the old parts from the 2015 service.
