I think it's very likely he saved himself with a shill (No sign of that though), but even so no one wanting to push the button for more than that? He currently has a BS BB on, so that one may be worth watching.

That same BSBB is for sale on another forum. Asking price is $5495. Maybe the old BB auction that you posted was pulled for a sale via another avenue? It seems to be a legitimate seller.

I'd try to bag my auction too if a BB was going to sell for $2k....
