I think the brand is one of those you either get it or not deals but whats the appeal here? It's certinely not aesthetics!!! I believe its brand recognision due to a rich history and simplistic instantly recognisable design. I have NEVER seen anyone who is serious about his watches own one.

I can't pretend I know a lot about them, but when it comes to looking at ladies watches ( for my wife I hasten to explain) these do catch my eye as being petite but different. Breitlings unfortunately just do not seem to work for my wife as she really has very tiny wrists.

She has took a "shine" to a very new out of the blocks watch from Raymond Weil but that one is a lot more money!

So yes I like Rado watches and they do always get a second look from me.

Women's watches IMHO. Different - yes, but not in a good way! I also knew an older guy at my offices who had a Rado and on him especially it looked like something out of the 70's.... and again not in a good way. (Or maybe that was just him!)

Rado is either a very easy sale or an impossible sale. I can only say, its impossible to sell another watch to a customer, who is interested in Rado. On the other side, its impossible to sell a Rado to a customer, who is not a Rado fan. There is no other watch, where the customers opinion differs so much.

Interesting observation, and one that I can fully understand. They have a very distinctive look and I can well imagine people either totally loving them or totally hating them. (Think we all seem to be coming down on the side of the latter!!)
