I bought a two tone bluesy 16613 in june of 2015 as my first luxury watch. Since then I have added a 44mm Panerai Pam 90 and a 48mm Breitling Super Avenger 2. I wear all 3 one day in a row to keep them all in rotation. I have to say since wearing the other two Im not enjoying wearing the Submariner as much since its only a 40mm and simply feels light. I love the look of the watch though and I would always want one that looks like it. Would it help by upgrading to the newer 116613lb since its chubbier?

I agree with you, after wearing 46-48mm watches everyday I can't even put on anything smaller anymore.

I don't have the size difference as the SA and Sub, but there are times when I prefer wearing my SubC or Datejust 2 to my 44mm Airborne.

If you did make the switch, unless you really love 2 tone, I'd move that for a Deepsea if you like the larger size.
