:x Dear Members,

I was wondering what your views are in regard to having spent over £1,200 pounds on the servicing of two watches and having nothing but a plastic card for one namely a Rolex and the other nothing !!!

Now when you service a car you get an invoice with a breakdown of what work was done I am not impressed with the fact that these major watch houses have you over a barrel as regards what they tell you and after making inquiries I learn't nothing

And the fact that they hold all parts replaced really gets my back up !!!!

your views and comments welcome

Regards

Walter

I agree with you that it annoys the heck out of me in regards to not receiving any breakdown of the service work performed recently on my 2008 Breitling Chrono Evolution. It had not been working properly for the last few months, it would literally stop working after 4-5 hours whether it was on my wrist or in its watch winder. I sent it to Breitling Canada and 6 weeks later it was back with me and after paying the $920 CDN bill I received no verbal or written explanation as to why it failed in the first place. I can't say the same for Rolex or Omega however as they both gave me a full breakdown of the service work they did on my Sub Date and Planet Ocean respectively, I guess Breitling are expecting us to trust them in so much as they do what is required and outlined on their website in regards to the "standard servicing" requirements. Thankfully my Breitling is back and running perfectly.

I got the full explanation and detail of everything when my Airborne went in for warranty work from BUSA.
