I have been out of the watch game for a while, but I saw the Black Bay Bronze in a magazine while traveling a couple weeks ago. I haven't gotten anything for a couple years so I brought it up casually to my wife and told her that our local AD had one available (I went to look at it as soon as I arrived home from traveling).
A few days ago we were getting ready because we were having family pictures taken. My wife called from the other room and ask me what watch I was wearing. It was kind of an odd question, but I jokingly replied "I guess my Rolex, unless you have something else that I should wear". Right then she came around the corner with the Tudor box.......I must say, I was extremely surprised! I really love the look of the watch and I think they did right with in-house movement and bigger size! Can't wait to watch it patina as I wear it. I guess I'll keep her around for a little bit longer!

Definitely a keeper (your wife that is!). Great watch too!

I actually got to try a BB Bronze on the other day myself and have to say it's a lovely thing in the flesh. I thought the size worked really well and I love the colour scheme with the brown "Explorer" dial and bezel. The only thing that personally puts me off buying one is the fact it will gain patina. After owning a bronze watch in the past I know that patina is just not for me.... but obviously that's entirely the point of bronze watches, and if patina is your thing then I think BB Bronze is one of the nicest bronze watches out there.

Ahhhh, I had just gotten all this BBB stuff out of my system . . . but now I want one again in a bad way. That thing is stunning. Great watch, and possibly even better wife!
