How much do all the other PR stunts like the Jet Team, Wingwalkers, etc cost?

The 33M was just magazine advertisements, the total advertising bill was just a bit under 44M so sponsorship would have been part of the additional 11M.

Wouldn't think Rolex would need to advertise that much. There must be a payoff though.

almost every sports event you see rolex banners ?

horses (polo, dressage, jumping)
golf
F1 racing
tennis
movie product placing
athletics

etc etc etc
I think without these ad's people would still buy them but less of them as they stop identifying with the brand

And the marketing expense is tacked onto the retail price of every new watch. Someone is got to pay for all those celebrity endorsements!
