I have also been thinking about the big question. I have a Hawaii trip coming up and at first I just figured I would wear my SMPc and hope for the best. After realizing how much I appreciate the SMPc I decided to buy a real tool watch that I can enjoy beating the heck out of. I went with the BaliHai GMT 1000m. Here is my question, what is the rule on taking multiple watches on vacation? Is there a limit?

Totally depends on you and how nice you want to keep your watch, I tend to take my G-Shock on Holidays and when I go on the mountain bike the G-shock comes out then as well.

I lived in Florida for a decade. So, all my watches were dive watches. They have been diving, swimming, jet skiing, everywhere there is water. They have performed wonderfully with no issues. I have some minor scratches, but nothing noticeable. I don't to pay thousands of dollars for my watches to sit in a box. Wear them and enjoy them!

Hi all,
thank you for your lively discussion on the topic. I just wanted to let you know I had finally decided to take my Tissot Sea-Touch along. It served me perfectly well!
