So recap ,

-: we're a very small target audience of 500k people
-: we're buying into a made up dream / fantasy, wearing something that makes us feel we're part of something special
-: the dream and emotion that goes with that costs us approx 75% of the price of the product
-: we're parting with our €/$/£/¥ way too easily

That fits

Interesting that this was made public , even though it states 'highly confidential' on the presentation ;-)

Well I think that we all knew all of that anyway, it's just not something that companies usually admit.

It's going to be vary by model and won't just be 5% on each watch. For example, the 5001-07 is going from $12,400 to $13,600 while the Portofino 8 day is going from $10,800 to $11,100.

The question that comes to mind is; will their client base get it? Definitely!
