Black is beautiful and this is a work of art! I tried one on at the Vancouver boutique earlier this week and it felt just right on my wrist, but it went back in the display. :lovesloves:

I will give you 3 months before it's back out of the display and on your wrist! Haha.

I recently went specifically to see a dark side of the moon in person. What I'm about to say is nearly sacrilege to the WIS community: but other than seeing the movement through the case back, the dark side of the moon didn't really do anything for me. But I'm still glad to see that there's a piece so many others in the WIS community ogle over!

I still look forward to seeing the Speedmaster lunar dust (light side of the moon) in person

:yeahthat I've got to agree! Personally I think the DSOTM with a fantastic work of art. I particularly like the ceramic buckle as well. Great work from Omega IMO.... but each to their own I guess.

Of all the incredible aspects of the watch, the ceramic buckle is what made a lasting impression?

It was the buckle in combination with the case, but since I don't care for the aesthetics of the watch head on, what made the impression on me was the beauty of the movement.
