Subject tells it.
What your watch would be, if it's not be breitling, and why?
If money doesn't count, I'd probably take one Patek watches, maybe platinum 5002p model... :D , thought they made those 3per/year and queue might be quite long...
Patek is in my list no.1 Watchmaker technically, though models are aimed with aged and wealthy people.
Another interesting is Sarpaneva http://www.sarpanevawatch.com/, small Finnish watchmaker, (I live in Finland...) with simple but different looking models.
I like "loiste II", with turbine winding mass model.

Breitling is great, best in it's class, but still "mass product" like any other same class watches like Rolex, Tag, Omega...

Same prize tag like Breitling, these might be my choice: Omega, Sinn, Fortis...

These are my humble opinions, with no harm. What's your's :?:

Tag Heuer, Omega, IWC, Ball or Fortis. I really like the new stuff coming out from Tag... and IWC, Ball and Fortis have always been watches that I enjoy. Sinn is alright too.. but If i were to choose one line and one line only, I would have to say Tag Heuer since they have the most models that appeal to me aesthetically.

For me IWC or Zenith.

I prefer wearing the Breitling to my Rolex, doesn't seem so flashy...although I would love a Panerai

Now ya talking!

for me, aside from the PAM270 which is coming soon, I quite like the IWC Portuguese white dial - simple and very classy IMHO

I like Rolex, Panerai, JLC and lately the Grand Seiko line has caught me off guard.

Interesting to see this thread back from the dead after 10+ months! Also interesting to see how my tastes have changed. I no longer would want to collect Ball or Tag watches.. also Omegas are a bit boring to me.. I like them but they don't hold my interest long.

Now I would have to say: Zenith, Rolex, IWC, Panerai, Cartier (I really dig the Santos 100 XL)
