Not when you're heir to the throne and one of the largest fortunes in the world. That bumps you up all kinds of points.

2nd in line (behind Charles) but who's counting? I didn't think he was that ugly. He was in Australia and NZ recently after the floods and earthquake and made a lot of friends by being really down to earth and genuine. Seems like a pretty good bloke (strange family tho). But ****** says it was an Omega Seamaster Pro. I'm a little surprised.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if Charles never gets to be king and it goes straight to William. I know a guy who served in the armed forces for a while with William and apparently he's really nice down to earth bloke you could quite easily have a beer with. Plus he's in line for the thone and just married a top quality bird too - some guys get all the luck.

I don't quite understand the world's fascination with the royal wedding. I'm glad it's over so I don't have to hear about it 24/7 now.

So the future king wore an Omega Seamaster for the biggest day of his life. I figured a simple gold Patek or VC would be in order.

If I was a prince I'd have a nice A Lange on my left wrist. The best the Duke of Trollville can afford is a Glashutte PML XL though

I'm certainly not a royalist per se, but personally I just found it to be a nice, carefree and slightly uplifting public moment in an otherwise fairly downbeat year for the UK. I know it's not "cool" to like the whole royal wedding thing, but good luck to them I say. He's a decent guy, she's apparently really genuine and down to earth, so fair play to them I say. Sure, the press over-egg everything as the always do, but I'm not sure I get all the cynicism about it to be honest. :?

Yea he is a good guy, he voluntarily served for his country, and she seems like a good hearted person.....my frustration was with the constant media blitz we had to endure here in the states for the past 45+ days with daily updates on the wedding. It was a fairy tail day I'm sure but I don't get the amount of coverage it received. It was overkill to the n'th degree. To me it was just a wedding and didn't need all the pomp n' circumstance. I don't feel that is cynicism.
