+1 To me this really doesn't scream, this is a man's watch.

Ian, ignore all previous comments. You need to see the watch in person to apreciate how good it looks, and so well made!! Besides guys those are the two faces of the watch, you can only see one side at a time.

Slap it on at an AD Ian, you will fall in love!! Garanteed!

All those complications in one mechanism, GMT, JLC's sun/moon indicator, power reserve, double window big date and a choice between a white and black face.

Very highly recommended, definately a future purchase as soon as I have conquered the world of Panerai.

Finally someone who understands!

It's just the sheer 'difference' of this watch from anything else I own - sure, it's not a Chrono Avenger, sure it's not a Rolex - but that's just it - as a dress watch (but I don't wear dresses that often now...) it seems like a good idea.

I'll ring up my local dealer to see if he's got one I can try on...could be an interesting start for 2008

The thing about that watch is that it is a dress watch that is actually a port watch, it was designed for polo players a long time ago and that was as sporty as it got back then. In fact I remember visiting my AD and while he was talking about them he took off his Reverso Big Date and started banging it on the table like a mad man. Kinda freaked me out. The watch was fine, did not skip a beat, their shock proof technology is amazing, it is more rugged than any Rolex or Breitling I know of. The movement and finish are a real step up, AP kind of workmanship. A real jewel that watch.

Plus it does look great with regular attire as well, maybe not an Affliction shirt like Admin wears but with adds class to a collared shirt and khaki pants. Plus would add some serious diversity to any collection.

Soon as I secure my PAM 98 and PAM 250 this watch is next on the shooting range, no dought.

Well I like it, and as I've gone to great lengths in the past to express my selfish personal desire to please ME and only ME when it comes to which watch, I feel sure you'll understand.

Interestingly, we seem to have very similar taste - I've just been checking on what I'll be asking my AD to source for me this coming year, and I'm finally going to let myself be convinced to get a Radiomir....and none other than the 98 if he can find one for me. The 292 is pretty amazing too - I saw one at our dealer 'meal' in October and it's not bad at all - particularly for someone looking for an all-black watch...

And as for the dresses...my arms are nothing compared to my beard!

We do seem to have rather similar tastes, your collection reads as my future plan basicly, I would get rid of the CA and Skyland personaly though, just would never wear them if they are in that kind of company.

The PAM 98 is the nicest Radiomir by a mile and a half, what a great watch!

I mainly stick to the Breitlng, General watch and off topic sections.

Breitlings are hard to sell, been trying to sell this Datora for a while, my Rolex flew away in a heartbeat. So did my Omega Seamaster but Breitlings seem to have a much smaller after market.

Good luck on selling those and putting the money towards the JLC GMT. And dont forget to check the Grand Compressor Memovox since your there anyway.

Not bad at all - but I think I prefer the 98 in terms of an alarm - more stylish in my opinion.
