Congrats on the new Rollie! Its a beautiful piece...

The more I look at the Flying B however, I really feel that it might have to be my next piece, unless someone comes to me with a deal on something else.

Admin,

Make sure you get the Flying B Chronograph. I want to see the pictures and decide if I want one. Do you have any idea how much the retail is on the Flying B Chronograph ?

I looked on the Japanese version of the Breitling for Bentley page and built a few of the Flying B Chronographs. Using the currency converter on yahoo, depending on the case, the first one was $14,767 which I assume was the stainless steel model. The second one was gold and that priced out at $53,560 and the final model was possibly white gold or platinum and that was $63,654 using the exchange rates given by yahoo.

Those underwater pics were just great!

Is that your hobby, or is it work? Of course you should use the watch as intended - if it is a marine watch, dive with it. 8)

Thanks Aleister.

It's just a hobby that my wife and I have.

Here's a few others:
Image
Anemone with cleaner shrimp
Image
The edge of the wall, 1250ft drop off!
Image
Large coral formations. They are the size of Volkswagons!
Image
Trumpet fish hiding!
Image
Puffer hiding under some coral
Image
Old fishing boat wreck
Image
Flounder anyone?
Image
Moray eel.
Image
Big Moray eel.

My wife feeding the rays. The ray to her right was HUGE.

Sorry to highjack your thread.

If it's a dive watch, I wouldn't be afraid to wear it!

Yes, it was a tragic death. I've been with hundreds of wild rays. I can't imagine that happening unless the animal felt threatened.

Steve was one of my heros. I loved what he did for animal conservation. His enthusiasm was incredible, and I would have loved to have met him!

No idea what the retail is... but I want the jump hour.. don't really want the Chronograph. I want something different if i can. So many Chronographs already, a Jump Hour would be sweet.

Admin,

I noticed that it looks like it only has an hour hand. How does that work ? does the one sub dial on the bottom give you the minutes and then the hour hand jump jumps to each hour ? If that's the case it's pretty cool but I just love the looks of that Flying B Chronograph. The picture you have on this site that's on a guy's wrist really shows how HUGE that thing is and it looks really satisfying like a Super Avenger only much more unique.

It's a minute hand.. with a small seconds. The window wiht the number in it is the Hour.. and that jumps from hour to hour, with the big hand showing the minutes. :) Its cool!

To bring the main subject of the thread back abit. I hate how the center links of the GMT-IIc are polished, in the same fashion as the Motors T bracelet. I wish the the GMT-IIc was like the old GMT-II, having the all brushed bracelet, so I don't have to worry about hairline scratches.
