Very nice, although surprised that's a 67.

Serial number is 1967 but 1967 dials usually have 'boxed 10s' - a red box around the 10 on the inner and outer slide rule.

Hopefully this shows that this is not the case for all watches from 1967.

I did actually choose between 2 '67s and the other indeed had the red 10 box, but had the printed APOA logo rather than the cursive B, and I preferred this " branding". I have also acquired a 1960 all-black applied APOA Navi now sitting with Craig B as of a few days ago - hopefully both good examples that I will keep for a long time. I'll post a photo of that when it comes back in a few months.

I'm sorry that you feel that way, but you've asked about other watches, on the forum and by pm - here you decided to go ahead and check after you pulled the trigger.

would you prefer us not to comment ?

and which "cursive B" ? confused.

No, happy for your comments, opinions, and help.

I did use forum members to check the watch before I bought it, and I'm really happy with it. I wasn't really "checking it" here, which is why I posted it in this Watch Gallery forum, rather than the vintage forum.

Breitling started printing red boxes somewhere in 67, but they didn't make a decision to start doing it from January 1st, like with other changes over the 16-17 years they was made, it happened when it happened, 3 watches I have sold from 67'without red below.
