If it's a .jpg file under 250k I would assume that you could use the attachments in the post - does that not work with an i-phone?

I'm not sure! I'm copying the photo and pasting it.. But the picture isnt showing up! I'll keep trying. To answer your question... I'm not sure if it works or not. I'm not a tech type person! Trial and error at this point enless anyone has copy/paste from their iPhone!

You don't copy and paste into the message body, you use the browse / attach options below the message body (you may need to scroll down) - just the same as attaching a file to an e-mail message.

there is no way to directly upload from the iDevices, but the photobucket iPhone/iPad app works nicely.

both apps are free in the appstore. grabbing pics (see below) on the iDevices is fast and easy, the apps offer to automatically upload all new files from your device or you choose the files to upload.

then just continue with embedding the photobucket IMG link. happy to help, if you encounter problems, but it really is fast and easy.

Edit June 22:
To grab pics to your iDevice - either use the screenshot function (hold home button, press sleep button) or, if you are using the ebay app and want to grab a pic from a listing, use the "email to" function in the ebay app to send it to yourself, save the attached pic to your device, proceed with photobucket.

If you need to edit a pic on your iDevice (cropping, rotation, etc.), PhotoPad is an easy-to-use app for this; though IOS 5x supports this natively.

As the questions pops up quite frequently, these are the tools I use to grab pictures from web sites,
be it ebay or anything else:

Tool of choice for Windows Systems: LightShot (currently V2.0.1)
http://lightshot.skillbrains.com/
featureset: http://lightshot.skillbrains.com/compon ... nmore.html

available for Firefox, Chrome, IE and as a Desktop application.

very short "how to" for Firefox, not using others but assume similar:
- Right click anywhere on the page, choose "Take screenshot"
- Click and drag to select area to grab
- After releasing left mouse button you can resize the area, then
- Ctrl- S saves the pic to the directory last used, automatically naming files ScreenshotXXX, or
- use the "save as" to assign a file name or different directory, or edit pic, upload etc.

grabbing a pic from an ebay listing and saving it typically takes me about 5 seconds.

Mac OS X
using the native OS function here:
Cmd + Shift + 4 saves the selected area as a file on the desktop
Cmd + Ctrl + Shift + 4 saves the selected area to the clip board

IOS devices
see previous post here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=453&p=221836#p221836

hope this helps !

I can't send photos from my iphone through tapatalk as it gives a size error even when I select the smallest size. Are there any plans to enhance that? Also, when resizing through Corel Photoshop, it does by pixel height and width. My photos seem kind of small. What pixel size would best work with the 250K size restriction?

Thank you

Size restriction has been reduced to 200k.

Update: IOS devices
ios now supports pic uploads on Safari to a forum post just like on the Desktop, size restriction of 200k of course remains, so resize the pic (tons of tools for this) or link through photobucket, imgur or similar.

hope this helps !

"The image file you tried to attach is invalid".

I assume that this site will accept the "jpg" format... am I wrong? The photo was taken with a Nikon camera I resized it with your above method. If there is something that I overlooked let me know I am eager to post
Thanks
