Well, I sold my Cosmonaute, but I did it to get this! I hated to lose the Cosmonaute, but this watch was calling to me. Once I saw the black steel, which I cannot afford, I was hooked on the Avenger Skyland. Pic is not the best, but not bad considering who took it.

This Ling thing is killing me! I cannot stay away from the stores or the websites. What an addiciton! Bought this from an AD so I am legit.

That's a beauty. I absolutely love the Breitling blue. I bought the black dial version two weeks ago, and if your honeymoon period goes anything like mine, you'll have a hard time taking it off your wrist. She's a looker for sure.

Congrats, and enjoy it it good health.

Thanks Morecowbell.

One thing the sales lady said that I felt was accurate. We were talking about their other brands, and she said "People come in and buy a Rolex, and it is like a status symbol. The people that buy Breitlings know what they want, are not into the status symbol, and really dont even care that people dont even notice their watch. They seem to be more secure about themselves and are buying for workmanship and know that people that recognize their watch are probably Breitling fanatics."

Well said. I feel just like that. :)

And by the way, that photo was nice! Congratulations on the piece!

I couldn't agree more. I have never disputed the quality of Rolex, and if the world were only populated with WIS's I would probably own one. I just don't care for what the brand connotes among "regular" people.

Now go toss that quote into a Rolex forum, close the door, and see what happens ;)

Beautiful looking with the blue dial! My AD had one with a blue dial, and with a blue Diver Pro strap last week, which was also a real nice combo. For about $75.00, that's also another option for you if you want a change. I love the sparkle of the polished stainless with the blue especially.
Cheers,
Carl

Just like MoreCowBell. . . .I couldn't agree with you more regarding Breitling vs. Rolex. I like the look and feel of Rolex's as well, but I'll take my LING's anyday over a Rolex!

It must be something about the brushed mettal or the Black Steel, but the Avenger Skyland is getting to the top of my must have's. . . .right after I acquire a Navi World!

Great pictures of an Awesome looking LING!

Congratulations again!!

Great choice!

I like this piece WAY better than the Cosmo!

The Cosmo is just too small for my liking.
