Hmmmm, it looked OK on the diver strap, but croco looks much, much nicer IMHO if you fancy a change from the bracelet.

I love the rubber strap on my Super Ocean. It seems to give the watch a more "natural & Rugged" look. I kept the bracelet but left it off the watch until I feel the need to dress it up a bit!

Nice looking SA. Strap or Bracelet, you just can't go wrong!

The Diver Pro looks great! I love the Breitling rubber straps. I saw pics of an Avenger Skyland, black dial, with the Ocean Racer, and it looked great. That would also be an option, albeit a much more expensive one, for your SA. I actually prefer the SA and Skyland with the rubber straps. By the way, I have a Steelfish 44mm. and am thinking about an Ocean Racer for it, to interchange with the steel. Anyone have one of these, and maybe a pic?

Thanks for the comments guys. I really expected acceldebt or someone else to scream "blasphemy"...

I am absolutely enjoying my SA. The only bad thing about this exercise was that I left a small scratch on the inside of the lugs when applying the rubber strap with its springs. Well, I guess my "soon-to-arrive" Cape Cod's will take care of that.

Yeah a quick going over with the cods will sort those out in no time, BUT just a little tip from me if you want to avoid these sort of scratches in the first place is to use a tiny piece of sticky tape on the underside of the lug. If you stick it carefully right up to the edge (and also go careful with the spring bar removal tool), you should be able to avoid the dreaded scratches.
