That Blacksteel is bad-a$$. I have a friend here who is a helicopter pilot. Maybe I'll buy him one as a gift...nah. But maybe I should get one for ME!

Great pics! Thanks for sharing.

Nice string of pics!!! What a journey. I could take pics of my SA on my journeys from KC to Des Moines to Lincoln or to Wichita but they would all look the same  .

LOVED the action shots!

Man, the stories that watch could tell!

it seems right at home with the black diver strap in the cockpit!

Great photos! You should submit some of them to Breitling for inclusion in their catalogues!
As I said in my PM to you, thanks mainly to your experiences with the Blacksteel, I was convinced it was the watch for me. I love this thing! It is probably the single best purchase I have ever made. In fact, it is a work of art.
I work in a print shop, so my hands are in all kinds of machinery. Today was a perfect example: trying to troubleshoot problems with our laminator and our collator/booklet making machine. I felt the side of my watch scratch up agains some sharp metal piece, and when I looked at it there was not a trace of a scratch. My Steelfish, a couple of weeks old, already has some small scratches. I am not too fussy, though, I always think things like this are meant to be worn and enjoyed. A few scratches, just make them look worn in and seem to me to personalize them more.
Thanks again for the photos.
Cheers,
Carl

Forgot to mention that the leather strap looks great as well. I would have thought the white stitching would look good with the white stenciled numerals and white hands?
Anyway, I guess dying the stitches black is not difficult. Just wondering about the clasp, is it interchangeable with the rubber strap on the Blacksteel?
Cheers,
Carl

I saw a pic of the Blacksteel in one of the other forums, also with the black leather strap, but the white stitching was not dyed like yours. Have to say that the all-black like yours looks better, although I would not have thought it.
I have had my Blacksteel almost a month now, and really love it.
Cheers,
Carl
