I finally took the plunge and bought my first Breitling today, the Colt GMT. I love the color of the dial. This is just a quick pic.

Congratulations!

A quick pic is better than no pic... :) Looking forward to see more of it when you get the time!

Great looking watch! I especially like the blue dial on the GMT. As we discussed, I was torn between the GMT and Steelfish. My AD had both, with steel bracelet, and with black dial. For some reason, I thought the blue would look better on the GMT. I ended up with the Steelfish with black dial which is absolutely gorgeous. I was the GMT again the other day, the one with black dial, and still thought it would look better with the blue one like yours. I really like the GMT movement, it is actually a complication that I could make good use of! That is now one of my dilemmas trying to decide whether to get the Blacksteel LE or not. I'm sure if I don't make up my mind by tomorrow morning (Mon) it will soon be gone.
Enjoy the GMT. I really like the silver numerals and the machined dial. Like the Steelfish, it gives so many different effects depending upon the lighting. You will never get tired of admiring it on your wrist! I still wear my Superocean of 10 years occasionally, and still admire it.
Cheers,
Carl

Got a chance to take some better pics today, even though it's 1/2 Ling at the most, I still love it.

It might be one of the smaller models, but it certainly still has that Breitling "WOW" factor. The blue dial is great! Excellent pics!
Cheers,
Carl

Congrats on you're new watch. Remember a 1/2 or 3/4 Ling is better than no Ling and as one of the erlier posts said " I can assure you, this will not be your last LING! " he is correct. I received my first Ling on Friday, and when you hold it and cradle it, you wish it were twins....Best wishes...Wayne

I think that you have a 3/4 Ling, regarding to LING MAN's classification

It really doesn't matter what it classifies in the ling scale... The two important things are that you like it and that it's a stunningly beautiful watch!
