Very nice collection Sportback my man! (But I bet that Submariner will be taking an early bath when the new one comes out next year! )

Well you're wrong - it's my first (in 1978) and I'm gonna keep it - of course, the fact that I'll keep it doesn't in anyway preclude the purchase of the new one...

Very nice indeed! The Destro is not for me but the rest are perfect! Impecable taste my friend!

A Zenith Chronomaster XXT and a Jaeger Reverso would add diversity and class to that collection. Then it would be perfect!!!

Hell maybe an Omega Broad Arrow Rattrapante for good measure. I would need your home address then

Ah right, that's understandable. Always wish I'd keep my first old style Chronomat for the same reason....

Thanks guys! The case was from a guy called Rainer somewhere in Germany - I discovered his boxes on the paneristi site - if anyone's interested, I can let you have his e-mail. For sake of example, this one (6 watches) was 79€.

The great thing about the 219 is that it's everything of a classic Panerai - it has the sandwich dial, the clasic movement, and it's a 'lefty' - considering the prices of the more exotic Destro (like the 217) - this one is even reasonably priced at 3800€ new - and there are only 400 of this model (in 2007)

Lovely collection sportback, especially on the GMT2-c, I'm also working on getting it for 2008...most likely adding that and a Omega to my small humble collection.
